WHY MEASURE IMPACT?
Impact measuring enables us as an organization to set our goals, account our performance and indicate the social and environmental contribution of our actions which has helped us to create greater credibility with all stakeholders. In essence it enables us to explain what we are doing, how we are doing it and if it is in line with our sustainable objectives. As a social business, it also enables us to evaluate and strategise to achieve our big bold vision to design a better future.
HOW ARE WE MEASURING IMPACT?
We have developed sustainable KPI’s that reflects and align on our ethos and business objectives.
8974 kg
Up-cycled unwanted textile (till Dec 2024)
As our main resource is pre-consumer waste (mainly textiles), we measure all the textile waste we recover which would have ended up either in landfills or incinerated.
850 kg
Wastepaper recycled for SriLankan books
Transforming discarded materials into sources of knowledge and inspiration. This initiative not only reduces environmental impact but also supports education through sustainable practices rooted in local value.
36985
products were made and given a new life
Reducing waste, conserving resources, and making a meaningful impact on our planet. Each item restored or repurposed is a step toward a more circular economy, where value is extended and nothing goes to waste.
